Ruby's First Pediatrician's Appointment

We bundled up Ruby, enjoyed the colder weather and went to the doctor for the first time yesterday afternoon. Ruby weighed exactly nine pounds, which is within the normal weight loss range for newborns. The doctor said she expects her to be back to her birthweight in a few days because she's already such a good eater. Ruby measures 93% for weight and 95% in length. Dr. Cepeda said several times that she is "perfect." We agree.
