Kids' Meals and Playscapes

We took full advantage of the cooler weather today and met some friends at Central Market for lunch. It was a day of fun and firsts. Ruby had her first kids' meal (macaroni and cheese, which she enjoyed and I enjoyed even more). It was also her first time to play on a playscape. She loved playing peek-a-boo with the mommies, eating the ground-cover, and walking around with her friends. Hopefully she'll learn pretty quickly that going down the slide or running across the bridge is way more fun than eating dirt. I loved seeing her play with the big kids though, even if I was a little bit sad to think about her growing up so quickly.

My friend, Brandy, took some great pictures of the kids in action. I love having talented friends with nice cameras who document Ruby's life so beautifully. I've posted a few favorite pics here.
