We spent yesterday on the Llano River with some friends who own property there. There is nothing more quintessential "Texas Summer" to me than floating on the river, drinking Lonestar beer and iced tea, and hanging out with friends. We had an absolutely fabulous time- so fabulous that we forgot to take more than a handful of pictures.
My favorite part of our day was when we got to canoe down the river and Stella swam next to the boat. After going down a tiny rapid, Stella literally swam against the current waiting for us to turn our boat around and join her. She is the perfect salmon dog and an awesome swimmer (we love you too, Stan, but you do not play well with others).
