Random Conversation

Emilia had a nice little conversation with a woman on the shuttle bus heading back from the UT game:

Woman: Are y'all having a boy or a girl?

Emilia: She's a girl.

Woman: Have y'all picked a name yet?

Emilia: Yes, her name is Ruby.

Woman: Ohh. (pause) Is that a family name?

Emilia: No, we just like it.

Woman: You like it?

Emilia: Yes, we like it.

Woman: It's so old fashioned.

Hey, lady, if you're reading this: shut up. Maybe you should pay less attention to our daughter's name and more attention to your teenager with the huge hickeys on her neck. Just some friendly advice from a fellow shuttle bus rider.
