We've had three frames hanging on our bedroom wall for about a year now. A few months ago, we framed two smaller black and white images from our maternity session with the fabulous Lyndsay of Life in Motion Photography. I left the bigger frame empty because I wasn't sure what image of Ruby I wanted to put in the frame. David surprised me this week and had a favorite image of Ruby printed for the big frame. The photo was taken by a good friend with lots of photography talent who was kind enough to do a newborn session for us. I love to lay in bed now and look up at my baby's sweet face and chubby body. It's hard to believe that she's only one week old in the picture.

wow, you're lucky your husband is so thoughtful! I am jealous, Jay would never do something like that. And what a great picture too-look at that belly!
