Introducing Santa

While shopping this weekend, Ruby noticed a picture of Santa and asked who he was. Not wanting to get into it at that moment, I told her that he was Santa and that she would learn all about him when she was a little older.

Today, Ruby asked "Who's Santa?" totally out of the blue. Not wanting to ignore her question a second time, I said that "he is a man who comes to our house during the holidays and bring us presents." Ruby nodded her head, paused a moment to process who this Santa fellow is, then said, "Oh, like Gigibaba?"

I don't know what's cuter: the fact that Gigi and Baba have a reputation already for bringing presents, or that she combines their names to make one word.
